VANDA is a film production company that seeks to expand the limits of film production, taking as a mission to discover unique visions and include points of view not usually considered.





Lucila Mariani is a filmmaker, editor and producer born and based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Her first short film, “Wekwaindu” (2017) shot in 16mm, was selected by the BFI's Future Film Festival (2018).

“Resonancias” (Echoes - 2019), her second short film, had its international premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) where it was competing in the “Voices” category and was selected at New Directors / New Films (organized by MoMA and the Film Society of Lincoln Center) and at 21 BAFICI.

She co-directed the short film "Aquello que oímos" (Those things we hear) together with Francisco Zuleta, which is in distribution.

Currently, she is working on the development of her first fiction feature film, "Los días libres" (The days off) and her mid-lenght documentary "All the stone-throwers begin to run."



Lara Franzetti is a filmmaker and producer born and based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

She was assistant director in "Isabella" (2020), by Matías Piñeiro. She coordinated the distribution of "Parsi" (2019), by Eduardo Williams (World premiere at Forum Expanded Berlinale) and the post-production of "ESQUÍ" (2020), by Manque La Banca, where she was also production assistant during the development process.

As director, her first short film "Tres Valijas" was selected in the Official Short Film Competition at 20 BAFICI and her second short film, "Érika", made during the quarantine for the online screening "From 5 to 7", had its premiere in cinemas at Festifreak.

She is currently working on the development of "Antes de que alguien se muera" (Before someone dies), her first documentary and on the restored relaunch of Martín Rejtman's filmography.
